Sunbleach Studio is a way of meeting the world, one that changes things for the people we work with. A project can start anywhere: a sketch, a piece of wood, a photograph, a vision statement, a friend with a problem. Each one is a seed worth developing, and each gets the same care: we consider everything thoroughly, until the result simply works. We use technology where it strengthens the work, while staying true to timeless methods of making and design thinking. Our work moves across screens and reaches beyond them, into objects, spaces and the ways people come together. Sunbleach Studioは、世界との向き合い方そのものです。それは、共に歩む人々に変化をもたらします。プロジェクトの始まりはさまざまです。一枚のスケッチ、一片の木材、一枚の写真、ビジョンを綴った言葉、あるいは悩みを抱えた友人。そのひとつひとつが育てる価値のある種であり、私たちはどれにも同じように心を注ぎます。すべてを徹底的に考え抜き、自然に機能するかたちにたどり着くまで。テクノロジーは仕事をより良くする場面で活かしながらも、時代を超えて受け継がれてきたものづくりとデザインの思考に忠実であり続けます。私たちの仕事は画面の中を行き来し、その先へ、ものや空間、そして人が集う場へと広がっていきます。

At the heart of Sunbleach, our philosophy is drawn from the meditative tradition of zazen and the brilliance of the sun. In other words, the patience to work without forcing, and a clarity that leaves nothing in the shadows. These qualities bring into the world things that naturally serve the people who use them and the places they live in. Sunbleachの根底にある哲学は、坐禅という瞑想の伝統と、太陽の輝きから生まれています。つまり、無理をせずに取り組む忍耐と、影を残さない明快さ。こうした資質が、それを使う人々と、置かれた場所に自然と寄り添うものを世に生み出します。

Christopher Eads Christopher Eads

Christopher Eads is the founder of Sunbleach Studio and brings more than a decade of industry experience in publishing and advertising. Based in Tokyo since 2022, he draws inspiration from the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary culture, shaping a practice grounded in observation, clarity and thoughtful design. He founded Sunbleach to help brands, institutions and professionals turn creative vision into reality through strategy and design. Sunbleach Studioの創業者、Christopher Eadsは、出版・広告業界で10年以上の経験を持ち、クリエイティブの実践を続けています。2022年から東京を拠点に活動する中で、伝統的なものづくりと現代文化が交わる環境からインスピレーションを得てきました。観察すること、明快さ、そして丁寧なデザインを軸に、ものの本質を捉えることを大切にしています。Sunbleachは、ブランド、組織、そして個人が持つクリエイティブなビジョンを、戦略とデザインを通じて現実のかたちへと導くために設立されました。

Sebastian Zarate Sebastian Zarate

As a dual citizen in Canada and Chile, now residing in Japan, Sebastian brings a capacity to navigate multi-cultural contexts as well as apply unique insights to projects. He has a background in IT, working for Shopify, Booking.com among others. カナダとチリの二重国籍を持ち、現在は日本を拠点とするSebastianは、多様な文化的背景を読み解く力と、プロジェクトに独自の視点をもたらす力を備えています。ShopifyやBooking.comなどでの勤務を経たITのバックグラウンドを持っています。
